Pesticide work by Cornell Soil and Water Lab, 2000-2018
The Steenhuis/Richards group of the Soil and Water Lab carried out several types of pesticides-in-environmental-water research during the period 2000 through 2018. Most of the work has been part of the New York State Department of Environmenal Conservation (NYSDEC) pesticide program which includes water quality monitoring. A selection of the work is documented in the following web page sets:
Glyphosate in runoff (parnerships with US Geological Survey and NYSDEC)
County-based work (all in partnership with NYSDEC, and respective counties):
Other projects (with NYSDEC and various partners):
Pesticides-in-water work continued in 2021 with NYSDEC in 2021-2025. The glyphosate work also continued under USDA sponsorship. The glyphosate pages in this set may be updated with later content.
This 2000-2018 material was originally posted at a former website of the Soil and Water Lab that demised around 2020. It is rearranged for posting at our successor website, re-implemented using a combination of Markdown structured text (Pandoc dialect) and the Quarto static web publishing framework.
